Brick police were advising residents Monday to secure their property after burglaries and at least one car theft took place in two neighborhoods overnight between Sunday and Monday.
According to a statement from police, officers are investigating reports of burglaries and the theft of a motor vehicle in the Baywood and Midstreams sections of Brick. These incidents occurred between the hours of 3 a.m. and 5 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 25th.

“The Brick Township Police Department would like to remind our residents to lock your vehicles and your homes; be sure to remove your keys/fobs, all valuables and garage door openers from your vehicles,” the statement said. “Immediately call the police if you see or hear anything suspicious.”
