The ceremony will be held Saturday, Nov. 11 at 11 a.m. at the township municipal complex on Chambers Bridge Road. Flags from each branch of the armed forces fly outside the building.

Winter Break Camp:

The township announced this week that it will revive its winter break camp for township youth this season.

“Are you looking to keep your child busy during the upcoming winter recess?” an announcement asked. “Do you not want them to play video games or watch YouTube all day long?”

Brick’s winter break camp, run by the Recreation Department, will give residents ages 6 through 12 the opportunity to spend their break with their peers while enjoying fun trips.

The Winter Camp will be held Dec. 26 through Dec. 29. The fee is $150 per camper and includes trips to the Silverball Museum in Asbury Park, the Climb Zone in Howell and the FunPlex in Mount Laurel as well as a visit from the Laser Tag/Game Truck. The fee also includes bagels and juice every morning. Campers will bring their own lunch, snacks and drinks.

Parents can register their children online at this link, or call the Recreation Department for more information at 732-262-1075.
