Brick Township will once again offer free rabies vaccinations for pets this year.

Brick’s annual Rabies Vaccination Clinic will be held on Saturday, Jan. 20 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at the Drum Point Sports Complex, off Drum Point Road near the intersection with Brick Boulevard.

There are a limited number of vaccines available; registration is required for the clinic. Dogs and cats must be licensed according to the township’s code.

“Please have your pet on a leash and accompanied by an adult,” an announcement said.

Staff will be accepting checks made payable to “Township of Brick” at the clinic for licensing. Licenses and tags will be mailed in the week after the clinic. Pet owners who are planning on receiving a 3-year rabies vaccination certificate at this clinic must show proof of previous rabies vaccination prior to the clinic. Owners are asked to attach proof of previous vaccination to their online registration.

Pets must be at least 16 weeks old to receive a rabies vaccine at this clinic.

Registration is available online at this link.
