Brick Plans Repaving, Improvements to ‘Ring’ Street Around Senior Community

Brick officials on Wednesday night approved a resolution soliciting bids to improve a main street in one of the township’s age-restricted senior citizen communities.

The township is seeking bids for roadway improvements to Courtshire Drive. The road is a “ring road” that is the main artery by which other streets in the Lions Head North development off Beaverson Boulevard.



The work will include milling and paving, drainage improvements and repairs to other areas of need along the street.

Before work can begin, a qualified bidder must be chosen, a contract awarded and pre-construction meetings held. Residents will receive notification before work begins. Shorebeat will report when a contract is awarded.
