For the second time in two weeks, a Brick Township bank has been robbed, this time with the perpetrator getting away with a sum of money after passing a note to a teller.
According to Brick police, the TD Bank at Beaverson Boulevard was robbed at 2:08 p.m. Monday. Officers determined that a white male wearing a grey sweatshirt and blue jeans entered the bank and demanded money from the teller. The man then fled the scene with unknown proceeds toward Hooper Avenue.
The suspect is still at large, and is described as a white male between 20 and 30 years old, wearing a grey sweatshirt, sunglasses, beard and mustache, black wavy hair, 6 foot tall and weighing 170 pounds.
The investigation is in its early stages, police said.
